Resolution started when Sally and Bonnie (who met on the folk circuit) accosted Peter and Wol (who met as amateur actors and joined The Full Shanty together) as they were leaving Horsham Folk Club, and asked them if they were interested in singing acapella.

Not knowing what this meant, Peter and Wol were about to leave when Sally started singing Rave On; the other three joined in with four-part harmony, much to everyone's mutual astonishment, and the rest....

So Resolution started to sing a mixture of challenging music and fun songs; determined to do nothing that didn't break some new ground in style or arrangement. Since then, Resolution have sung at Folk Clubs, weddings, concerts, festivals.... and it gets more fun as it goes on.
